JAKARTA FASHION WEEK 2014 DAY 5

Jakarta October 23, 2013. At fashion tent, L’Oréal Professionnel launched Autumn/Winter 2013-2014 Color Collection, a hair color and hair style collection, and featured Peggy Hartanto, Rinda Salmun and Stella Rissa at “It Girls Of Fashion” show. Qonita Gholib, Risty Tagor and Tieka Huza, three Moslem fashion designers, collaborated at “Ethnic Batik Masterpiece” show.

Hengki Kawilarang chose silver and gold with touches of red and black for his cocktail dress and evening gowns collection at “Diva” show. In JFW 2014, Hengki Kawilarang invited Syu Shu by Vicky Shu to complete the diva look on this collection. Inspired by batik Toraja, Alleira Batik by Manda Rahardjo presented fashion show entitled “Fantasi”. Luxury, sexy and classy were three words that define “Beautiful Liar” show by Ivan Gunawan.

In the hands of Andrea Risjad and Amot Syamsuri Muda from fashion label ISIS, casual dresses can look chic and edgy. This year, CLEO Fashion Awards 2013 introduced three local fashion designers in Most Innovative Brand category (Olenka, Alex]a]lexa and Jii) and three local accessories labels in Most Promising Accessories Brand category (Rosalyn Citta, Massicot and House of Jealouxy).

At fashion atrium, MANGO presented standout collection for women. D’Kinnara showed colors combination and 3D batik at “The Rhythm of Revival” show. “Indonesia Fashion Forward 7” show featured Monday to Sunday, Bretzel/Cotton Ink. Through “Potrait of a Lady” collection, May & June highlighted timeless designs that inspired by fashion icon at certain periods such as Grace Kelly in the 1950s.

Using Las Vegas as an inspiration, Fame Agenda chose beautiful prints and simple silhouettes. 5àsec in conjunction with Mel Ahyar presented a collection for all types of women-feminine, edgy, or modern.
