Jakarta Fashion Week 2014: At fashion tent, Japan Fashion Week Organization opened the fourth day of Jakarta Fashion Week 2014 with the collections from two Japanese designers-Motonari Ono and Tamae Hirokawa (the designer behind fashion label Somarta). Indonesian Fashion Designers Association (APPMI) showcased mini fashion show by Hartono Gan, Agnes Budhisurya and Gregorius Vici. APPMI also featured Fuji Tjandra, Geraldus Sugeng, Misan, Oki Wong and Poppy Dharsono at “Parade Ready-To-Wear” show. Furthermore, APPMI presented seven Moslem fashion designers at “Parade Muslim” show.
They were Tuty Adib, Najua Yanti, Hannie Hananto, Lia Afif, Merry Pramono, Feny Mustafa and Hennie Noer. Bright colors, original prints and gorgeous design were found at “Fearless” show from Blaire by Angie Blaire. In collaboration with Yayasan Jantung Indonesia, Oscar Lawalata presented a collection with innovative and timeless designs at “I Am Indonesian” show. The Vespa show that featured designers Harry Halim and Klé was a synergy between automotive and fashion.
At fashion atrium, Senayan City showed exclusive collection from Debenhams. Fusing inspiration from Betawi culture, Dinas Pariwisata dan Dewan Kerajinan Nasional Daerah (Dekranasda) DKI Jakarta presented Rumah Betawi and Rumah Kebaya. “Indonesia Fashion Forward 6- accessories designers” show featured Batik Chic and La Spina. For the first time, Limkokwing University of Creative Technology became a part of Jakarta Fashion Week 2014 and featured “Limkokwing Fashion Club” show.
The Body Shop Indonesia as the official makeup and makeup artist at Jakarta Fashion Week 2014 held a talk show and introduced more colorful beauty products.
